“Scared Circle” is obviously not a country. It is a genre of dance: Sacred Circle Dance. These dances are choreographed to old a new music by people all around the world. They all share the format of an endless, connected circle of dancers and the spiritual energy that creates, harkening back to the earliest dances of our ancestors. In the mid 1970s, German Ballet Master and international folk dancer Bernhart Wosien took his European folk dance collection to the spiritual community of Findhorn, Scotland. He discovered the healing powers of the circle dance and knew this Sacred Dance could be used to heal the rift between humanity and the Earth. The movement spread world wide, and we now have a genre of folk dance known as Sacred Circle Dance.
