Women Greek dancers in clipart form

A new tradition of traditions. A full, or at least nearly full, night of Greek dances and Greek-themed party food. We may slip some non-Greek dances in by request, and we will have to sing the English version of Happy Birthday for the September birthdays and missed August ones. Same night, same time, same place: Tuesday, September 26, 2023, 7:30-9:30 PM, Empire Grange Hall.

It’s a party with a theme. This time, bring Greek appetizers, snacks, and treats. Check Greek Boston for some ideas.

We will also celebrate August and September birthdays. Hopefully, the birthday folks will attend!

Sophia will guide us through the traditional Greek village dances and David will do his best to lead the RIFD Greek choreographies.

TNFD Party Protocol

  1. The 1st rule of TNFD Party Protocol is to have fun.
  2. You are encouraged, but not required, to bring a snack to share of the savory or sweet variety.
  3. You may bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage for yourself or to share (there’s not much participation in such at TNFD, except some around Christmas).
  4. There for sure will not be any teaching on party nights. I’ll just keep spinning the hits with some breaks filled with background table music for mingling, munching, and merriment, and we will, of course, have birthday singing, when participants have divulged birthdays.
  5. Be prepared for non-standard recordings being used for some favorite dances.

We need to practice up on a few of these dances…
