Maričensko Pravo horo is a chain folk dance from Bulgaria originally taught by Yves Moreau in 1969 Yves learned it in Maričeno, near Sofia at a wedding. It’s simple and symmetrical, but the speed kicks it into the “intermediate” skill category. For some reason, folks have a hard time picking this one up on the fly… The music and a dance demo appear on Yves’ second Bulgarian Folk Dance CD + DVD set.
