A Frightening Tuesday Night Folk Dancing Party
at the Empire Grange on
October 29, 2023, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Get ready to dance away the evil spirits…or awaken them! I guess it’s really up to your perspective on the matter. We had better just make a party out of it and be prepared for both scenarios! Monsters just wanna mash, or is that mosh? The duality of it all: good/evil. Let’s Party!
๐ฅธBring a snack/treat to share. Tricks are possible. Costumes are optional. Just remember: you have to dance too! ๐
Late-Breaking: We’ve got a special dance for the occasion! Bring a Broom!
I’ll only torment you with a couple demented versions of dance tunes just for the occasion, but they will mostly be scary for me, because I have to do the leading to strange music…

TNFD Party Protocol
- The 1st rule of TNFD Party Protocol is to have fun.
- You are encouraged, but not required, to bring a snack to share of the savory or sweet variety.
- You may bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage for yourself or to share (there’s not much participation in such at TNFD, except some around Christmas).
- There will not be any major teaching on party nights, but there may be quick instructions for a party dance. For the most part, Iโll just keep spinning the hits with some breaks filled with background/table music for mingling, munching, and merriment, and we will, of course, have birthday singing, when participants have divulged birthdays
- Get your requests in early, otherwise it’s all Programmer’s Choice for the evening.
